All VAT-registered companies have to send six VAT reports (mva-melding) a year. Some businesses have an expectation and can send just one VAT report a year.
Conta collects all information based on what is registered in the accounting. So make sure that you have sent all invoices, registered all transactions and have completed the bank statement reconciliation before you start.
To send the VAT report, go to the top menu > Reports > Bookkeeping reports > For the Tax Administration > VAT Report.
When you submit a VAT report, you do a bank statement reconciliation or close the financial year, so the period is locked for changes. This is done by Conta to prevent incorrect registrations. If it is still necessary to make changes to a locked period, for example if you have forgotten to register a transaction, you can reopen the period.
